These fused glass and sterling silver earrings were my Covid project.  I was fortunate in that when the studio I work out of shut down in March of 2020 the studio manager allowed me to take home our engraving lathe.  I started practicing on bottles I dug out of the recycling, but quickly found myself wondering how many artfully carved reclaimed bottles a person really needed. Luckily, I make lots of tiny things.  These small earrings are the perfect surface for me to practice a challenging technique without spending hours on a single object.

Each set is handmade and matched to ensure a good-looking pair! Each pair is individually engraved with a surface pattern which enhances the color, plays with the light, and is a joy to wear.
